SUNG HEE AHN

Biography
Sung Hee Ahn studied Fine Art in Seoul, Korea. Since living in Australia and joining the Headland Park Artist Precinct in Mosman NSW, her main focus has been to convey the symbolic Australian landscape from a Korean perspective.

Artist Statement
The patterns and textures of nature have always captivated me. They depict an unbroken existence, a continuity of our land. My focus in art making has been building up surfaces with part random, part studied textures and exploring these layers with the visual elements observed, creating a vestige of a landscape.
